A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"Loved my meal at the 9th street diner. The owner was very friendly and the place just made me feel at home. The food was of very good quality, most everything at the diner is homemade from scratch. He even makes his own cinnamon rolls and honey buns on top of a bunch of other food items!"
"Love coming here for their baked steak, it is AMAZING. The gravy is perfection and the homemade bread is second to none. You really could eat an entire loaf. Always a friendly experience and love coming here when i’m wanting a home cooked meal made with heart."
"Wife and I ate lunch here for the first time. The first impression we got was the smile of the owner's face. Very nice gentleman, so was the waitress. The food was top notch, larger than I expected. I got the pork loin sandwich with crispy salt and peppered fries, great amount of seasoning for my taste, while the misses ordered grilled cheese and cajun fries. The bread is homemade and flaky, so good. The grilled cheese looked amazing. Highly recommend. We'll be returning."
"Great little place. Run by the owner, who's also the chef. The cheeseburger was well made, fresh ingredients and the homemade bun was fresh and delicious. The French fries were a bit soft, but I couldn't stop eating them. People also raved about the cinnamon buns and the French toast. I didn't get to try them, but I definitely will, if I get to seeing by this town in the future. The service was very attentive and friendly. I highly recommend this place."
"Just, WOW! What a gem! My husband suggested we try out 9th street diner for lunch, today. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by the most lovely staff, and immediately noticed the super cool decor. It’s a total vibe! I ordered the grilled cheese & Cajun fries. The bread is homemade, it was crisp to perfection, and the Cajun fries….. DELICIOUS! we had a lovely lunch date together. We cannot wait to come back and try the breakfast selection!!!!!! The homemade cinnamon rolls look scrumptious!!!!! 10/10 recommend. We BOTH enjoyed our service, the atmosphere, and ESPECIALLY the phenomenal food. I think we are totally going to be “regulars” at this cute joint"
"This place is a little gem! Everything is made right in front of you. Best homemade bread (just like my gramma used to make)! And they sell it! Will definitely be going back"
"My niece and I wanted to try somewhere new and I am so happy we did. The hospitality was warm and welcoming. Their homemade food is made with love and delicious. Sure, as some have commented, it is a small, cozy café, but that makes it even better. Everything is fresh down to the bread. Portions are plentiful and the prices are budget friendly. It may have been our first visit, but certainly not our last. I definitely want to support local over a national chain."
"9th Street Diner knocked it out of the park with our catering order. Everything was made as it was requested and tasted amazing. When your holidays are busy with running around give Joel a call and let him handle the stress of cooking."
